Spiritual Food for Thought #1

Mosiah 4:17-19
17. Perhaps thou shalt say: The man has brought upon himself misery; therefore I will stay my hand, and will not give unto him of my food, nor impart unto him of my substance that he may not suffer, fr his punishments are just-- 18. But I say unto you, O man, whosoever doeth this the same hath great cause to repent; and except he repenteth of that which he hath done he perisheth forever, and hath no interest in the kingdom of God. 19. For behold, are we not all beggars? Do we not all depend upton the same Being, even God, for all the substance which we have, for both food and raiment, and fr gold, and for silver, and for all riches which we have of every kind?

Think of that the next time you seem someone begging on the street. Who are we to judge. Who are we to say someone isn't worthy of something. Only God.

Mormon.org

Mormon.org is a very interesting place. I'm writing stuff about myself and about experiences I've had. It's pretty fun to go through and read other people's testimony. It's basically a fast and testimony meeting whenever you want. My profile is here:

I know that we have a living prophet on the earth right now. God lives and loves us. Keep his commandments and he will pour down his blessing to you. And, sometims we mess up. That's why our loving Heavenly Father sent his son to suffer, bleed, and die for us. We can overcome this world but only if we trust in Jesus Christ and use his atonement to purify and sanctify us.

How do we receive forgiveness for our sins?

Enos 1:4-8

4And my soul hungered; and I kneeled down before my Maker, and I cried unto him in mighty prayer and supplication for mine own soul; and all the day long did I cry unto him; yea, and when the night came I did still raise my voice high that it reached the heavens.

5And there came a voice unto me, saying: Enos, thy sins areforgiven thee, and thou shalt be blessed.

6And I, Enos, knew that God could not lie; wherefore, my guilt was swept away.

7And I said: Lord, how is it done?

8And he said unto me: Because of thy faith in Christ, whom thou hast never before heard nor seen. And many years pass away before he shall manifest himself in the flesh; wherefore, go to, thy faith hath made thee whole.
